Europe's road network has seen rapid growth of transportation due to trading, resulting in congestion on many roads. This means that demand for travel is high and in order to satisfy this demand, LD Lines provides its customers, logistics providers and road hauliers, with sea transport alternatives to 'road only'.

LD lines ro-ro vessels offer services dedicated to accompanied and unaccompanied trailers. Services are reliable and highfrequency. The cross channel ferry services operated by LD Lines between the UK and Normandy, are exceptionally fast and convenient, using ports which are closest to London and Paris respectively. There are daily services operated by LD Lines and its sister company, Transmanche Ferries:

• Between Portsmouth and Le Havre (october 2005)
• Between Newhaven and Dieppe (March 2007)
• Between Dove rand Boulogne-sur-Mer (February 2009)
• Between Ramsgate and Ostend (Mars 2010)

LD Lines now offers even more ferry crossings to France than before, across the central part of the English Channel, giving freedom and flexibility to our customers, which enables them to choose the port and the time that suits them.
LD lines also offers ro-ro in the Mediterranean Sea:

• Between Marseille and Tunis
• The « Motorways of the Sea » between France and Spain, Nantes/Saint-Nazaire - Gijon operated by GLD Atlantique .
